Argentine Michelin-starred chef Tomás Treschanski accepted an invitation from Ambiente’s creative chefs to visit Prague. At just 23, he opened Trescha in his hometown of Buenos Aires, and the restaurant earned a Michelin star less than a year after opening. In addition to a workshop for culinary professionals, Tomás has also prepared a talk for the general public.
At the moderated discussion on Monday, September 14th, you’ll learn about the role that tradition and South America’s cultural heritage play in contemporary Argentine cuisine, as well as how Tomás draws on his experience at some of the world’s best restaurants, including Frantzén and Azurmendi. The conversation will also cover education, finding your own culinary identity, menu design, team leadership and hospitality.
