Come and roast a špekáček fatty sausage or a beef sausage on Thursday, April 30th. Starting at 3pm, there'll be a fire burning in front of the Naše Maso butcher shop, and the butchers will provide everything you need to go with your sausages: bread, mustard, skewers, a plate and something good to drink. In the event of bad weather, the butchers will announce a new date.
A pinch of theory for the fire:
We make špekáčky from Czech beef and Přeštík pork. The meat is seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, paprika and nutmeg; bacon fat is added at the end.
The beef sausage from Naše Maso is made according to a First Republic-era recipe, using beef and beef fat from Czech cattle. It is seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, paprika and nutmeg. Thanks to the right balance of meat, fat and spices, it is juicy and flavorful.
